Charging Standard of Polywell Law Office

Article 1: This standard was made according to Price Law and Lawyer’s Law to maintain the legal right of the client and the lawyer, and to guarantee the propitious progress of consigned case.

Article 2: The charge of Polywell conforms to the principle of open, equality, voluntariness, and being honest and trustworthy.

Article 3: The factors below would be considered when Polywell consults the attorney fees with client: (1). The time the case takes; (2). Complication of the case/project; (3). The economic capability of client; (4). Risk and responsibility the lawyer may undertake; (5). Social credit and working level of the lawyer.

Article 4: Polywell adopts piecework charge, percentage of the dispute amount charge, and timing charge according to different content of service. Piecework charge is applicable to cases that don’t concern property relation; percentage of the dispute amount charge is applicable to cases that concern property relation; timing charge is applicable to all the cases.

Article 5: If the client intends to pay contingent fee to Polywell when civil case concerning property relation is handled, Polywell could execute it, except for the situations below: (1). Matrimonial and succession cases; (2). Applying for social insurance or living safeguard; (3). Applying for aliment, pension, dole or industrial injury benefit. (4). Applying for remuneration; (5). Criminal, administrative, state compensation or class action cases.

Article 6: To take the charge of contingent fee, Polywell shall sign a contract of contingent fee contingent fee charge to engage the risk responsibility, charging method and charging amount.

Article 7: When Polywell accepts authorization, it shall sign a contract of service charge with client, or put the article of charge in the contract. The contract of charge or article of charge shall include: items of charge, charging standard, charging method, charging amount, method of payment and the method to solve the dispute.

Article 8: Polywell shall provide the client legal bill when it charges the client for attorney fee.

Article 9: The court costs, arbitration fee, appraisal fee and notarial fee that Polywell pays on client’s behalf are not included in attorney fee. Client shall pay extra.

Article 10: This standard shall be enforced from today on.
